The temperature has taken a sudden dip in London and I find myself reaching for all my cosiest jumpers and woollen socks. The cold weather, combined with the evenings drawing in has got me craving warming, cosy, comforting foods to look forward to in the evenings. This week’s recipe is one such meal, brought to you by the legend, Donna Hay, from her new cookbook ‘Too Easy’ which is out now in the UK.
Donna is an icon, having authored over 27 bestselling cookbooks, editing 100 issues of her magazine and receiving an Order of Australia Medal in 2022 for her service to the food and hospitality sector as a cook and author, she has really done it all. I’m forever inspired by women in the food industry who are able to stay relevant, interesting and engaging over a decades long career, whilst retaining their integrity and simultaneously raising a family. What a woman. It’s a real honour to be able to interview Donna for the newsletter this week and share one of her recipes with you all.
So I hope you are snuggled up somewhere in a woolly jumper, with a cup of tea and that you enjoy this chat with Donna as much as I did.
Sending love, Rosie x
